Joy Lammers wins “Masterspringen van Peel & Maas”
A masterly performance by Joy Lammers and Gigolo of the Broekkant earned them profits in the Master Jump on Jumping Peel & Maas. In the jumpoff with Malin Parmler and Niels Knape Joy Lammers was the fastest. After three rounds theHeartbraker decendent Gigolo van de Broekkant had enough energy left to finisch a full second faster than the competition.
“He’s always very careful and even stays sharp after three rounds, which is really one of his qualities.” The last obstacle of the section stood at 1.65m. “He jumps just as easy 1.65m as he dous 1.40m, I’m really very happy, super!”. The just nine year old Concorde grandson seems to have a very promising future. “I definitely feel he can do more,” concludes the rider who won the Derby of Eindhoven in May with Zomerfee van de Broekkant.
Joy, who in previous years won the Grand Prix Championship and the Ton Hendrix Memorial at Jumping Peel & Maas, wrote history as the most successful rider of all seven editions of the competition on the complex of Stal Hendrix.
